SARAJEVO HALF MARATHON
NO BALLOT. You register, you're in.
There is no lottery here and no charity place to chase. You fill in the form, you pay, you have a race. The only thing that changes is the price — it steps up twice as the date gets closer, so the cost of hesitating is real but small.
Registration is only complete once the entry fee is paid. Filling in the form on its own does not hold you a place.

Group discount, precisely: the 20% group rate applies to the half marathon (minimum 10 runners), not to the 5K. If you're bringing a club, email the organiser with the group form rather than registering individually — it's the same race, €7.80 a head cheaper.
THE RACE PACK.
The pack listed by the organiser includes a numbered bib with timing chip, official timing, refreshment stations, a technical/Dri-Fit race shirt, a finisher's medal, sponsor items, race photos, and a post-race concert. For under €40, that is a lot of race by UK standards, where a city half routinely runs £45–£60.

Fill in the form at sarajevomarathon.ba. This alone does not secure your place.
PAY THE ENTRY FEE
Card payment online, or bank transfer. From the UK a transfer can take several days to clear, so don't leave it to the deadline — card is simpler.
WATCH FOR THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL
Check spam if it doesn't arrive. Payments take at least a day to process, and longer from abroad.
TELL THEM YOU'RE TRAVELLING
Collecting your bib before race morning is only possible for runners coming from outside Sarajevo with prior notice by email. Send that email early, and no later than an hour before the start on the day.
