BELGRADE MARATHON
NO BALLOT. Just a ladder that only goes up.
Anyone can enter a European Championships race here — you register online, you pay, you are in the field. What needs managing is the price: seven waves between the opening and race week, and every one of them is a step up. The marathon that costs £52 (€60) today is £86 (€100) if you decide at the expo.
The current wave — Regular Entry — ends 31 August 2026. That is the deadline this page was written against.

WHAT THE LADDER IS TELLING YOU.
Read the table backwards and it is a simple message: the organisers will happily charge indecision £34 (€40). The gap between today's price and the expo price is a pair of running shoes. If you know you are going, the maths does not improve by waiting — there is no ballot to hear back from, no qualifying window, nothing to wait for.
The one legitimate reason to wait is uncertainty about which distance. In that case note that the half and 10K climb on the same dates — so decide the weekend, enter something, and remember championship fields reward being in them more than being sure.
